May 2012 Housing Market Statistical Reporting
Sioux Falls, SD – June 7th, 2012: A few quick observations: closed sales volumes are flirting with tax credit levels, the number of active listings are back around 2007 counts, sellers have seen a greater share of their list price than the year prior for five consecutive months and prices have enjoyed three consecutive months of year-over-year gains for the median and five consecutive gains for the average.
We’re seeing similar changes taking hold locally in the Twin Cities. The landscape is definitely shifting and agents are finding multiple offer situations to be commonplace.
